Meet the Team

Lead Clinician

Jake Cooke, MChiro, MScAPP, DACNB, FEAC, FRCC.

I specialised in dizziness after my wife had BPPV. It was so violent and scary. Despite me diagnosing and treating it immediately, it still took a week before she felt confident travelling to work again.

From that moment, I understood how disabling dizziness and vertigo can be.

I made dizziness the focus of my masters in neuroscience and have now helped thousands of people resolve their vertigo.

I’ve spent the last 7 years teaching neurology seminars across the UK and Europe. I’m a Fellow and Chair the European Academy of Chiropractic’s Neurology Group. I also have the pleasure of being a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors.

Clinician

Ben Goodall MChiro, LRCC, DC.

Ben’s journey to chiropractic began on the floor of a tumbling track. As a Great Britain gymnast he twice captured the Junior British title, and in 2019 he claimed bronze at the World Age Group Championships in Tokyo. Throughout his competitive career, chiropractic treatment was essential for keeping him competition-ready—an experience that ultimately inspired his own path into the profession.

A First-Class Honours graduate of AECC University College (2020), Ben stays on the forefront of evidence-based practice. He co-authored peer-reviewed research in the Journal of Chiropractic & Manual Therapies during the pandemic and lectures part-time at Health Sciences University in Boscombe. His current passion is clinical neuroscience; through advanced study with the Carrick Institute he is deepening his expertise in the neurologic foundations of pain, dizziness and peak human performance.

Clinic Manager

Victoria Briffa, MChiro.

Our clinic manager and fellow chiropractor was a student of the same year alongside Jake at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC), where they both trained and graduated; achieving a Masters degree in Chiropractic in 2009.

Victoria has practiced in multidisciplinary clinics in the South and South West, moving back latterly to the North West of England, closer to family and friends. There she has enjoyed establishing her own chiropractic practice, again working alongside other disciplines. Victoria has experience working with a wide range of patients with regards to age, ability and profession, with their varied and related challenges. A few examples include musculoskeletal challenges in pregnancy, sports related issues - working with professional sports and Irish dance troupes, providing treatment and much needed custom orthotics prescription for long suffering pounded feet!

Alongside physical chiropractic treatment modalities, Victoria recognises the essential role and positive influence of a holistic approach in the management of patients. She is interested in natural health, lifestyle, movement and food choices in the support of the body (and mind's) wellbeing, healing and recovery. Victoria is currently encountering her own health challenges with Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) and has had to take a pause on hands-on practice, she is enjoying remote work.
